Côte-d’Or region wines

From mid-2019 there will be a new regional appellation: Bourgogne Côte d’Or (with grapes from the 2017 harvest). The production area of Bourgogne Côte d’Or falls within the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune (together: Côte d’Or). If there are grapes harvested within the Côte d’Or that fall outside a well-known appellation village, this new classification now applies. The volumes will consist of approximately two-thirds red (pinot noir grape) and one-third white (chardonnay grape).
